Campout plus Leo Carillo!

Huggies to my camping buddies! It turns out that sleeping in the great outdoors is lots of fun! Who knew?

It was a little chilly but the toasty marshmallows added a bit of warmies. I was sure to bring my protective mouse ears to scare off any predatory animals.

We did lots of exploring and monkeying around! It was a blast!

The next morn we went to the beach and met up with more of my school chums! There were a million hermit crabs crawling around between these rocks. I was sure to point each one out to mom. There were teeny tiny baby ones and great big daddy ones and medium sized mommy ones.

The sun never came out and the water was arctic cold but that sure didn't stop me from putting in a full day of bathing suit wearing! It also didn't stop me from getting a slight tan....

MOCA family art day

It was a shoe! I got it pretty quick.

Here's a tiny instrument I made that they hooked some contact mics to so I could make sweet sweet music. It was all about textures.
After all this art stuff I found a fountain and ran through it like 20 times! Jackpot!

field trip!

My class went to the air and space museum and then over to the CA science center! We took the bus on accounta it being transportation month at our school! Loads of funners. I'm no stranger to our fine city's public transportation system, however...

The rose gardens were nice but my mood went sour when that pesky ice cream vendor kept taunting me! Mom wouldn't make with the sweets and it put a real bee in my bonnet. Hmmph!

trike-a-thon

TRIKE-A-THON! I admit it, I was pretty wobbly and slow for those first few hundred or so laps but darnit I'm totally built for speed now! Slow and steady wins the race!

I'm ca-razy about bike riding now! I'm a billion times better and I only got a few owies here and there.

A super big shout out to all my peeps who donated! It was super appreciated and gave me the fire to round the turns over and over and over!
